keep going!

just read your last comment on the live blog 52.08kn is quick! It is a real shame that u didn’t complete 500m but I suppose that is the way things go! If I am not mistaken 52.08kts would be a fair leap in the top instantaneous speed recorded by sailrocket! (shame about the broken boat though, i hope u can get if fixed before the end of your world recored season) keep working at it you will get your reward soon i can sense it! i know u can beat the kite surfers to hold the world record! keep it up!

any news on the first 500m run? there where suggestions of an average over 47kts, (that would beat hydroptere's recently ratified run of 46.88kts making her the fastest sailing boat on the planet!) which would make sailrocket the fastest sailing boat on the planet!

i wish i could offer my assistance in helping u to fix sailrocket but unforciantly i am stuck in the uk (doing my degree) at the moment! but good luck with fixing her hope to see u back on the speed strip soon!

Breakthroughs are coming!

Hi guys

I have been watching your progress for the last 12 weeks with great interest. I suspect I am one of many who would like to be there to help you in some way and share in the thrills and spills.

I do not know the details of the crash mentioned by my fellow comment maker, but I just wanted to encourage you to keep going. (preferrably with an old fashioned helmet to keep necks and spines in tact)

Your patience, determination, ingenuity, and commitment to achieve your goals are already proven...and I believe the results you desire are so close now - you can almost touch them!

Keep up the faith!

Paul's helmet

All joking aside here. In the event of another crash like you survived today that helmet could put a big twisting moment on a fragile spine.

I'd rather you sacrificed a zillionth of a knot, wore a conventional helmet and stayed alive.

All the best to you guys I hope you can patch it up and get back out there.

beers tonight, repairs tomorrow, you deserve it.

Any GPS downloads yet?
