Helen here, GT11 still showing top speed from Sunday, so we don't think it's a record

They will take the rig down and go back up the course. Wind is now gusting up to 29knots.

Helena:We have just downloaded the GT11 data and the peak speed was 50.99 knots with a 500m average of 49.45 knots.

Here is a message from Paul: I was ready for a big push over the top. The previous run was perfect... in close fully sheeted flap in. Absolutely nailed it... we all thought it was the one... but not to be. We will see how the TRIMBLE faired. I went back up the top for an epic run over the top... i.e. 25-28 knots.... but then it came on over 30. We put the rig up... and nearly tacked the boat... so we canned it. It's humping now.
